Community Interpretation and Translation Supporter Training Course

　The Association certifies interpreter/translator volunteers with high language skills and other qualifications as "Community Interpreter/Translator Supporters" and helps facilitate smooth communication and accurate information transfer with foreign residents in areas such as administrative procedures, medical care, education, health, welfare, and child-rearing.
　To be certified as a supporter, participants are required to attend a training course to learn about interpersonal support aptitude, interpretation skills, confidentiality, neutrality, and other code of conduct.We also hold practical courses in various fields to help participants acquire the knowledge they need to provide appropriate support in medical and educational settings.

　Thank you very much for all your help. We asked for interpretation, from preparations for going to the operating room, to identity confirmation when entering the operating room, and instructions on how to use the waiting room and family PHS. The relief of knowing that you would continue to accept our request from yesterday was a great feeling for the patient, his family, and the hospital staff. Thank you very much.

　Thank you again to our wonderful interpreters today. They were very considerate and we really appreciated it. When the foreign parents saw the interpreters, their faces lit up and they said, "Thank you, teacher," and they were very happy.
