Subsidies for activities of international exchange and cooperation groups
We will subsidize part of the expenses required for the project in order to promote activities to support foreign residents, international cooperation, and international exchange by volunteer groups in Chiba City.
XNUMX. XNUMX.Subsidized organizations
Organizations that meet all of the following requirements
(XNUMX) The main place of activity is in Chiba city
(2) Be a non-profit organization, not related to political or religious activities.
(3) The majority of the members are Chiba citizens.
(4) The members and operators of the organization are volunteers.
(5) The foreign citizen support project must be active at the time of application.
(6) Activities related to the realization of a multicultural society that the organization has been involved in for more than one year;
Or have a track record of international exchange and international cooperation activities (excluding foreign citizen support projects)
(7) There are rules and regulations necessary for the operation of the organization.
(8) Other things that the Chairman particularly approves of.

During FY2020 (April 1, 2020 to March 10, 2020), organizations will voluntarily
Projects to be planned and implemented that fall under any of the following:
Business A
(XNUMX) Foreign citizen support project (project related to Japanese language learning support for people with foreign roots)

Business B
(XNUMX) Foreign citizen support project (project other than Japanese language learning support)
(XNUMX) A project to promote the multicultural understanding of Japanese citizens and the understanding of Japanese culture by foreign citizens
(XNUMX) International cooperation and support projects
(XNUMX) Business to promote international friendship and goodwill, including sister cities and friendship cities

One application per organization per fiscal year, and only one application for either A project or B project.
The grant organization and amount will be determined by the review committee.

①A-1 Japanese language class management organization for foreign-born children
Grant limit: 320,000 yen
②A-2 An organization that runs Japanese language classes only for adults from foreign countries
Grant limit: 100,000 yen
(XNUMX) Business B
Grant limit: 100,000 yen
Within half of the subsidized expenses.
